Ground nutmeg is a popular spice made from the seeds of Myristica fragrans, a tropical evergreen tree native to Indonesia. Nutmeg is found in the form of whole seeds, but is usually sold as a ground spice. Muscatel ground has a warm, slightly nutty flavor and is often used in desserts and curries, as well as in beverages such as mulled wine and chai tea. Although it is more often used for its taste than for its health benefits, nutmeg contains a range of powerful compounds that can promote overall health. Sustainable Packaging

Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
