Cardamom pods or Elettaria cardamomum are one of the main ingredients in traditional cuisine in India. Therefore, Cardamom is described there as"the queen of spices" ( For your information, pepper is considered the king of spices there). The pods have a flavor tending to bergamot, lemon and camphor while the aroma is rather sweet, fruity and quite pungent. The cardamom pods we offer grow wild, in their natural habitat. Their wild growth gives them an intense character and a particularly rich taste and aroma.

Culinary Uses of Cardamom

The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
