Willow bark, white willow bark or bark of the white willow (Salix alba) has a lot of properties that can help us with musculoskeletal problems. From "Salix" the name salicylic acid was derived. This is because the willow contains the anti-inflammatory and analgesic substance salicin. This active ingredient is found mainly in the bark. Natural salicin is usually better tolerated than the artificial one (aspirin). The willow bark we offer grows wild, in its natural habitat. Its wild growth gives it an intense character and a particularly rich taste and aroma.

Prepare Organic Willow bark tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic willow bark. How to easily prepare a cup of healthy willow bark tea organic:

• 3 gr. Willow bark per cup of hot water.
• Allow to infuse for 20 minutes.
• Strain
• 3-4 cups per day (one cup is equivalent to 18 to 27 mg of salicin).

The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
