Plantain (Plantago) is known to grow just about everywhere from parking lots to playgrounds and is often dismissed as a ubiquitous pesky plant in the garden. In phytotherapy, however, the leaves have interesting health-promoting properties. Plantain is often called nature's "band-aid." If you are stung by an insect or nettle, you can bruise a leaf of plantain and rub it on the spot. The juices help soothe the pain and reduce swelling!

Prepare Organic Plantain tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic plantain. How to easily prepare a cup of healthy plantain organic tea:

• Use 1-2 tablespoons of plantain per 250-mL cup.
• Pour just short of boiling water over it and let steep for about 10 minutes.
