Blackthorn blossom, from the Prunus spinosa, is a special blossom that is definitely worth getting to know. Blackthorn blossoms are harvested in early spring (between late February and early April), dried and then carefully sorted and stripped of twigs and other impurities. Their flavor is subtly floral with a slight sweetness, perfect for a soothing tea experience.

Preparation Organic Blackthorn Blossom Tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic blackthorn blossoms. This makes it easy to prepare a cup of healthy blackthorn blossom tea organic:

• Flood 1 tablespoon of dried blackthorn blossoms with hot water.
• Allow to infuse for 10-15 minutes.
• Strain the blossom from the tea.
• Drink 2 to 4 cups a day, hot or cold.
