Culinary Uses of Sage

With sage leaves, fresh or dried, season especially meat or fish dishes and makes fatty foods easily digestible. Be careful not to overdo it, as the camphor-like flavor quickly overpowers the other ingredients. Add sage only at the end of cooking time, otherwise the aroma will be lost. Also try sage in pumpkin soup, cheese sauce, with beans or peas. Sage is also very tasty with eel; by the way, another name for sage is eelweed. You will also find Sage in our Fish Herbs

The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
