It has been used for centuries in traditional herbal medicine in Europe for minor eye conditions such as redness and irritation. The botanical name of the Eyebright, Euphrasia, means joy, referring to how you may feel as the herb restores your eye health. The eyebright we offer grows wild, in its natural habitat. Its wild growth gives it an intense character and a particularly rich taste and aroma.

Preparation Organic Eyebright tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic eyebright. How to easily prepare a cup of healthy Eyebright tea organic:

• Use 1-2 tablespoons of eyebright herb per cup of tea.
• Pour over with just under boiling water and let steep 5-10.

Eye Compress: To treat the eyes, you can dip a damp cloth or cotton ball in strong eyebright tea and place it on the eyes (closed) for 10-15 minutes.

Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
