Prepararation Organic nettle tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic nettle. How to easily prepare a cup of healthy nettle tea organic:

• Measure the amount: Use 1 teaspoon of dried nettle leaves per cup of tea.
• Bring water to a boil: Use about 200 ml of water per cup.
• Prepare the tea: pour the boiling water over the nettle leaves and steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on the desired strength.
• Strain and serve: Remove the leaves and enjoy the hot tea.
• Optional: add a sweetener: Honey or maple syrup can soften the somewhat grassy taste.

Note that nettle tea can have a somewhat grassy and earthy taste. You can also mix it with other herbs or teas to adjust the taste to your preference.

• Finely chopped nettle leaves can be added to dishes such as pastries, omelets, quiches and bread.

• Nettle leaf is definitely not a children's herb.
• It should not be used in acute inflammation or fever.
• It is not recommended in people with nervous natures.
• Also be careful when taking in combination with blood-thinning medications. Because Nettle also contains vitamin K, the herb could reduce the effect of these medications.
• Even if urinary pills are already being used, Nettle can intensify the effect.
