Yarrow or Achillea millefolium is an herb that has been valued for centuries for its medicinal properties and versatility. It is often used to relieve digestive problems, promote wound healing and soothe menstrual complaints. The herb contains substances such as flavonoids and tannins, which are anti-inflammatory and astringent. Thousand was called "herba militaris" because it stopped bleeding wounds sustained during battles. In legend, Achilles used it on the advice of the centaur, hence the name.

Prepare Organic yarrow tea 

Making a tea (or infusion) is an ideal way to benefit from the beneficial effects of organic yarrow. How to easily prepare a cup of healthy yarrow tea organic:

• 1-2 tablespoons per cup.
• Pour over with just under boiling water.
• Let steep for 5 minutes.
• Strain
• 3 cups per day.

Combinations with Yarrow

When cold, it goes well with Elderflower, Peppermint, Cayenne pepper and Ginger. If elevated blood pressure, combine with Hawthorn, Linden Blossom and Mistletoe. For menstrual complaints, it goes well with Chamomile.

The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
