Description
Cardamom seeds or Elettaria cardamomum are one of the main ingredients in traditional cuisine in India. Therefore, Cardamom is described there as“the queen of spices” ( For your information, pepper is considered the king of spices there). The pods have a flavor tending to bergamot, lemon and camphor while the aroma is rather sweet, fruity and quite pungent.

Culinary Uses of Cardamom Seeds
Cardamom is used in curries, cookies (speculoos) and liqueurs, among other things, and also as a flavoring in tea blends. In dishes with fruit, cardamom gives a fresh, floral flavor. Or add cardamom seeds to smoothies for extra spice.
