Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) is a dried flower bud of the clove tree and is best known for its intense, long-lasting flavor and special shape. The flower buds are picked as soon as they begin to turn pink and before the petals are visible. These buds are then dried; they turn brown and become very hard. You can buy cloves whole or ground. The whole version retains their aroma longer than ground. Did you know that dentists use a derivative of cloves for pre-anesthetic ?

You can use whole cloves to season stews. Cloves go great with garlic, onions and pepper. Ground, it is certainly also delicious with beef, lamb, marinades and soups. Sustainable packaging

Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
