This pure organic hydrosol of blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. The hydrosol can be used both internally and externally.
This hydrosol comes from L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm in the Drôme Valley (France). All harvests are distilled in a traditional copper still over a wood fire, with a gentle and slow distillation process lasting 4 to 6 hours. This artisanal method ensures optimal extraction of aromatic compounds and active constituents, without depleting the plant. As a result, the vitality of the blackcurrant is preserved in the final product.
