Beschrijving
Echinacea Hydrosol is obtained through steam distillation of the aerial parts of Echinacea purpurea, a plant traditionally known for its immune-supporting properties. This hydrosol is suitable for both internal and external use, especially during periods when the immune system needs extra care.
This hydrosol is produced by L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm in the Drôme Valley (France).
The plants are cultivated, harvested, and distilled by hand using traditional methods in a copper still over a wood fire. The slow distillation process (about four hours for 25 liters) ensures optimal extraction of aromatic and active compounds without exhausting the plant. This preserves the vital energy of echinacea in the final product.
