Description
Our organic Bourbon vanilla sticks from Madagascar are completely pure and unprocessed and are approximately 17 centimeters in length. The sticks are fresh, pliable, have a nice oily shine and are rich in aroma and flavor. 1 bag contains 2 vanilla sticks.
Vanilla is ideal for enriching dishes such as ice cream, desserts, rice pudding, pastries and oatmeal. It has the unique ability to enhance the sweetness of a product. However, vanilla can also be used in savory dishes in combination with, for example, chicken, fish, eggs, fruits and potatoes.
Simmer the whole vanilla pod in milk or your dish to release its flavor and aroma to the fullest. After use, you can rinse the sticks, let them dry and use them again.
To intensify the aroma, you can carefully cut the sticks open lengthwise to release the rich vanilla marrow.
Never store vanilla pods in the refrigerator to avoid drying out or mold. Instead, store them in a dry, cool place.
Sustainable Packaging
Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste.
