Description
Red bilberry, also known as lingonberry, is a small bright red berry that grows in acid forest soils in northern Europe. The berries are traditionally used in folk medicine and Scandinavian cuisine for their antioxidants and high vitamin C content. They are often used as a purifying fruit, especially to support urinary tract, resistance and digestion. Thanks to their fresh, slightly tart taste, they are also delicious in mixtures with sweeter herbs or fruits.

Sustainable packaging
Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste. Home composting is also possible, although it may take a bit longer (about 1–2 years). More information about our packaging choice.
Attention for a moment
Red bilberry is generally safe under normal use. Do not use with known allergy to berries or during intensive medication without prior medical advice.
