Health benefits of organic Pepermint oil
The distinct scent of Peppermint essential oil is probably instantly recognizable to almost everyone.
Peppermint oil is highly characteristic, distinctive, popular, and very versatile in its uses.
It supports digestion, breathing, and muscles and joints. In addition, it stimulates a tired mind.
This essential oil comes from L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm in the Drôme Valley (France).
They work according to traditional artisanal methods: the plants are hand-grown and harvested, then slowly distilled in a copper still over a wood fire.
This slow distillation process (about four hours for 25 liters) stands in sharp contrast to the ultra-fast, large-scale production of commercial companies.
Because the entire process is gentle and non-invasive, the plant has enough time to fully release its aroma, active ingredients, and essence.
Some good blends:
- Peppermint with EO Fennel and EO Orange for digestion
- Peppermint EO combined with EO Ginger, EO Marjoram and EO Lavender for a muscle massage
- Peppermint EO with EO Eucalyptus and EO Lavender for respiration.
In combination, be careful to always use the Peppermint essential oil in moderation as it quickly becomes overpowering.
