Description
Oat straw is the straw that comes from the oat plant, scientifically known as Avena sativa. The seeds of the oat plant are used for oatmeal and oat flour. Oat straw consists of the stems and leaves of the oat plant left over after harvesting the seeds. It has a pale yellow color and is less rigid than the straw of some other grains, such as wheat or barley. Oats are very rich in phytonutrients and fiber and have traditionally been used primarily as a natural stimulant and brain enhancer.

Sustainable packaging
Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste. Home composting is also possible, although it may take a bit longer (about 1–2 years). More information about our packaging choice.
