Description
Rosemary Cineol hydrosol is a fresh and aromatic floral water obtained through steam distillation of the flowering tops of Rosmarinus officinalis. This variety, sourced from the Mediterranean region, is known for its gentle and supportive effects on the skin, head, and metabolism. Since ancient times, rosemary has been a symbol of memory and mental clarity.
This hydrosol comes from L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm in the Drôme Valley (France).
The plants are cultivated and harvested by hand and traditionally distilled in a copper alembic over a wood fire. The slow distillation process (about four hours for 25 liters) ensures optimal extraction of aromatic and active compounds, without depleting the plant. This way, the vitality of the rosemary is maximally preserved in the final product.
