Description
Apple berry, also known as Aronia berry (Aronia melanocarpa), is a small, vigorous fruit derived from the Aronia shrub. Known for its exceptionally high antioxidant content, this berry offers numerous health benefits. Aronia berries belong to the rose family (Rosaceae) and are native to North America. The shrub produces white blossoms that closely resemble apple blossoms, hence the name “chokeberry.” This hardy shrub thrives in both full sun and partial shade, making it suitable for cultivation in temperate climates as well.

Sustainable packaging
Our herbs are packaged in resealable pouches that protect against light, air, and moisture, helping to preserve their aroma, quality, and properties as well as possible. The pouches are made of paper with a compostable protective layer and are industrially compostable. In many municipalities, they can be disposed of with organic waste. Home composting is also possible, although it may take a bit longer (about 1–2 years). More information about our packaging choice.
A word of caution
Although aronia berries offer numerous benefits, it is important to consider them as a supplement to a balanced diet, not a replacement.
