Peppermint Hydrosol Organic – 250 ml

Peppermint Hydrosol is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Mentha × piperita, an aromatic mint variety known for its refreshing and cooling character. This hydrosol is suitable for both internal and external use and is often used when freshness, clarity and support for digestive comfort are desired.

This hydrosol comes from L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm located in the Drôme Valley (France).
The peppermint is grown and harvested by hand and then traditionally distilled in a copper alembic heated over a wood fire. The slow distillation process (approximately four hours for 25 litres) ensures a gentle extraction of the aromatic compounds, optimally preserving the plant’s fresh, minty character. As a result, the hydrosol carries the lively and invigorating qualities of peppermint.

Uses

A slight sediment or natural cloudiness may occur and is normal, reflecting an artisanal production process without filtration. This does not affect the quality of the product.
