Description
Winter Savory Hydrosol is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering aerial parts of Satureja montana, an aromatic plant traditionally valued for its warming, purifying and strengthening properties. This hydrosol is suitable for both internal and external use.
This hydrosol comes from L’Âme des Simples, a small-scale organic herb farm located in the Drôme Valley (France).
The plants are hand-grown and harvested, then traditionally distilled in a copper alembic heated over a wood fire. The slow distillation process (approximately four hours for 25 litres) ensures a gentle yet thorough extraction of the aromatic and active compounds, respecting the plant’s rhythm and vitality. In this way, the life force of winter savory is optimally preserved in the hydrosol.

Uses
Internal use (as a course):
- Traditionally used to support digestion
- Suitable for bloating or after heavy meals
- Dosage: 1 tablespoon per day, diluted in 400–500 ml of water, to be sipped slowly
- Can be combined with fennel or bay laurel hydrosols for a synergistic effect
External use:
- Facial care: as a purifying and refreshing spray
- Mouth rinse: for a sensitive or stressed oral environment
- Body care: as a tonic in cases of fatigue or after physical exertion

These hydrosols are 100% pure and natural and contain no alcohol, preservatives or synthetic additives.
A slight sediment or natural cloudiness may occur and is normal, reflecting an artisanal production process without filtration. This does not affect the quality of the product.
